MT. MORRIS TOWNSHIP, Michigan — When Flushing-area resident Tim Harmer opened his newspaper New Year’s Day, the last thing he expected to see was a story about his own near-death experience.
The Flint Journal story detailed how four off-duty paramedics on a flight from Flint to Minneapolis aided a fellow passenger in medical distress on a Nov. 3 Delta/Northwest Airlines flight.
The paramedics, however, were unable to find out who the passenger was or whether he’d survived after the plane made an emergency landing in Green Bay.
