ABSECON, N.J. — EMS personnel helped catch a man who allegedly committed a strong-arm robbery at a N.J. drug store after listening to a description of the suspect over a police radio.
Medics spotted Ronell Ruiz, 33, along railroad tracks and alerted police, according to Shore News Today. He was later arrested.
Police say Ruiz is accused of attempting to leave a Rite Aid store without paying for merchandise that he hid in his pants.
Employees from the store tried to keep track of Ruiz as he left the store but lost him before the EMS personnel found him.
