BROOKLYN, Ny — A 14-year-old Brooklyn teen - who neighbors said had graduated from middle school on Tuesday - was clinging to life after he was shot in the head early this morning.

The boy, whose name was withheld, was taken to Brookdale Hospital.

“I heard four shots,” said Lupe Estrella, 48, a certified EMT whose Cornelia Street home in Bushwick is next to the shooting scene.

Estrella performed CPR and tried to revive the teen.

“He had what looked like a bullet right in the center of his forehead,” she said.

A second good Samaritan also performed CPR, Estralla said.

She said a group of teens at the scene scattered after shots rang out.
