PINE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A woman accused of assaulting emergency personnel was being treated for an overdose at the time of the incident.
The Sharon Herald reported that first responders were originally called to Tillia’s daughter’s home to treat both women for heroin overdose.
Both women were separately taken to the hospital, but police were called to the hospital by Superior Ambulance medical staff after Tillia became combative.
According to the police, Tillia kicked one EMS personnel in the groin, scratched another and pinched the arms of another.
Tillia was charged with four counts of aggravated assault, she is being held at Mercer County Jail on $5,000 bond.
She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on April 3.
