NEW CASTLE, Ind. — A man was arrested after calling 911 dozens of times and threatening to kill a dispatcher.
The Star Press reported that Timothy Edward Hill, 23, called 911 25 times between Wednesday night and Thursday morning. In one call, he threatened to kill the dispatcher.
Hill also said he was the devil and vowed to kill anyone who came to his home. In another call, he said he would be the next WWE wrestling champion.
When officers went to Hill’s home, he said he didn’t make the calls because he didn’t own a phone. An officer standing outside said he saw Hill remove a cellphone from his pants and make a call.
When confronted by police for the third time, Hill apologized.
“I’m sorry. I’m just bored and wanted something to do,” Hill said.
An officer seized Hill’s cellphone and he was arrested. He was later charged with intimidation and unlawful use of 911 services.
