VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. — An EMT who was allegedly assaulted by Heather Locklear has hired a personal injury lawyer.
TMZ reported that the EMT, who was allegedly kicked in the head by Locklear in a drunken attack in June, has been reassigned to desk duty as a result of her injuries.
Sources said the EMT hired personal injury lawyer Kevin Flahavan in an effort to sue Locklear for emotional abuse, as well as reimbursement for medical bills.
The incident occurred after police responded to a 911 call at Locklear’s home. Police said she appeared “heavily intoxicated” and was “arguing with other subjects at the residence,” according to Fox News.
“The responding deputy believed it was necessary to separate her from the others,” a spokesperson for the police department said. “In the process of trying to separate her, she battered the deputy ... There was no injury to the deputy. That action caused her to get arrested.”
Locklear allegedly kicked the EMT after an ambulance was called due to her “behavior and level of intoxication.”
The actress voluntarily agreed to check herself into a treatment facility after the incident.
