ATHENS, Ohio — Thieves burglarized an Athens EMS station stealing several duffle bags containing uniforms and ID cards.
Ambulance crews were stationed at a Halloween block party when the thieves threw a gas grill propane tank through a rear window, Athens Ohio Today reports.
Chief Rick Callebs has warned the public to be on the lookout for anyone impersonating an EMS provider or attempting to sell the uniforms.
The thieves also stole a toolbox and ransacked the station’s lockers and medical equipment cabinets.
