PUEBLO, Colo. — We’re used to wildlife in here in Southern Colorado with deer, coyotes and even bear sightings. But one feathered friend, a wild turkey, has become somewhat of a mascot at a Pueblo business complex. The turkey, named Hank by nearby business employees, shows up every day about the same time and has been doing it for about seven months now.
“He has been known to chase an ambulance,” said AMR Operations Manager Mike Lening. “Couple times he actually seemed to be communicating with an ambulance.”
Employees at AMR actually captured Hank responding to ambulance sirens. In the video you hear the sirens and then Hank “gobbles” in response.
