IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — After watching the story Eyewitness News aired earlier this week, EMS Director David Cloer sat down to speak with us regarding the concerns expressed by some of his paramedics.
“We knew it was going to be hard on the staff at first,” Cloer said, referring to the first few months after the county took over convalescent calls.
Cloer said he expected there would be growing pains with the added workload but he believes his department has addressed that by hiring eight new employees, specifically to run convalescence.
