WHITEHALL, Mich. — The four ambulances are parked mirror to mirror and bumper to bumper in the current White Lake Ambulance Authority facility next to the downtown Whitehall City Hall.
In fact, air horns were damaged and had to be removed from the vehicles because of the cramped parking in the facility’s garage.
The current building lacks needed office and storage space, the day room for the paramedics is on a separate floor from the showers, and the sleeping areas are only big enough for a single mattress.
