WEST YORKSHIRE, England — A hospital consultant left an angry note on an ambulance that was in the hospital parking lot, according to a paramedic.
Telegraph reported that West Yorkshire Ambulance Service paramedic Zain Ali Kazmi shared a photo of the note on Facebook, with the caption: “Came out of ED to find this! Another note on an ambulance this time from an A&E consultant … because he was blocked in a bay where he shouldn’t have parked himself!”
“Think about others before you block others’ car,” the note read, which was signed “A&E Consultant.”
Clinical Service for Emergency Medicine Head Dr. Sarah Robertshaw confirmed that a doctor had written the note, and said it was “disappointing” to see since the hospital had been working with the EMS agency for several months to improve patient hand-over times.
Kazmi said the doctor should not have parked in the bay, as it is meant for the police.
“He was going round taking pictures at first and then he left the note,” Kazmi said. “But he didn’t leave a note on the other consultant’s car that was there. You don’t just leave a note on an ambulance. It’s not the way to deal with it.”
