CHICAGO — Two people suffered minor injuries Tuesday when an ambulance and an SUV crashed in southwest suburban Evergreen Park.
An ambulance attendant suffered a cut to his hand and a passenger in the SUV suffered minor injuries, Evergreen Park Fire Chief Ronald Kleinhaus said.
The driver of the ambulance was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and damage to village property after a light pole was hit, police said. Police did not provide the driver’s name.
