BOONE COUNTY, W. Va. — An ambulance was involved in a three-vehicle crash that resulted in two deaths.
FOX 11 reported that a passenger vehicle lost control and crossed the center line, striking another passenger vehicle, and then both cars collided with the ambulance.
The two fatalities that occurred were occupants from the same passenger vehicle. One other person was taken to the hospital.
Two paramedics and a patient inside the ambulance were not injured.
The crash is being investigated, and officials say weather could have been a factor.
