CLEVELAND, Ohio – A car crashed into the Cleveland EMS headquarters building early Saturday morning, police said.

At approximately 2 a.m., a vehicle drove into the building at 1501 Lakeside Ave, police said.

The car left an 8-foot by 12-foot hole into the building which has heavy damage on the inside, police spokesman Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia said.

The driver of the vehicle fled on foot. No one is in custody and police are investigating.
