Ill. paramedic injured during extrication of crash victims
The paramedic suffered a back injury and was taken to a hospital

WOODSTOCK, Ill. — A paramedic was among three taken to the hospital after a crash between a semi-truck and minivan Tuesday.
WLS-AM reported that paramedics with Woodstock Fire/Rescue responded to the crash at 3:25 a.m. and found the semi rolled over. The drivers of the minivan and semi were trapped in their vehicles.
During the extrication process, a paramedic suffered a back injury and was taken to a hospital.
The driver of the minivan was transported to a hospital in critical condition. There was no information on the driver of the semi.
