SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A vehicle crashed through the front of a UPS Store on Tuesday in North Natomas leading the driver and three pedestrians to suffer minor injuries.

There was minimal damage to the storefront on the 2700 block of Del Paso Road in the Natomas Town Center complex in the Creekside neighborhood, according to dispatch logs. Firefighters received a call for help just before 12:30 p.m.

The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, said Capt. Justin Sylvia, a spokesman for the Fire Department.

Three pedestrians were struck by the vehicle “as was entering the business,” according to Officer Anthony Gamble, a spokesman for the Sacramento Police Department. One of the pedestrians injured was hospitalized, but Gamble said the injuries were minor and included a broken foot.

Alcohol or drugs were not believed to be factors in the incident, Gamble said.
