Watch: Children of 9/11 victims send message of hope to Paris

The video shows sons and daughters explaining what they have learned from their first-hand experience with terror

NEW YORK — The children of September 11 terrorist attack victims sent a video messages of hope to the people in Paris after the recent attacks that killed 130 in November.

In the clip, four adults talk about losing their fathers in the World Trade Center attacks in 2001. Juliette Candela, 21, Francesca Picerno, 23, Terrease Aiken, 22, and Joseph Palombo, 26, were all children at the time of the attacks.

They tell the loved ones of those who were killed in Paris on Nov. 13 to not stop living their lives.

“I know what it’s like to have my father killed on national television,” Candela said. “My mom pulled me over and she said, ‘There was an accident today. There was an attack on where dad works. And we don’t think he’s ever going to come home.’”
