NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — A North Platte teen is in custody after threatening to kill two EMT personnel late Sunday.
Shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday, North Platte Fire and Rescue was called to the 900 block of South Tabor to the report of a female who had accidentally cut herself. Three EMT personnel responded to the call. After arriving on scene, two EMTs approached the home where they heard arguing inside.
Upon entering the home, Carlos Charging Elk, 19, of North Platte, allegedly locked the door and threatened to kill the two emergency responders, said Lt. Rich Thompson with the North Platte Police Department.
