GERMANTOWN, Pa. — Two medics needed medical attention after trying to help a man who was struck by a vehicle Monday morning on the Roosevelt Boulevard.
It all started around 5:40 a.m. Monday when a 40-year-old man was struck by a car on the southbound Roosevelt Boulevard near Berkley Street in Philadelphia’s Germantown section.
According to authorities, the victim turned violent while being transported by ambulance to an area hospital. He allegedly stabbed the two medics with scissors and threw a canister out of the ambulance.
