ST. PAUL, Minn. — After 43 years, Allina Health EMS Paramedic Diane Bauer is retiring.
In a post on social media, the agency announced Bauer’s departure and praised her decades of service to the community.
“One of the first female paramedics, she’s been a mainstay on the 0330 trucks, became one of the first Community Paramedics, traveled on medical mission trips and participated in a variety of special events,” the post read. “The amount of service, dedication and lives impacted by Diane is immeasurable. We thank Diane and her family for the time she has spent with the citizens of Allina Health EMS’s service area.”
The agency also shared several photos of Bauer from early in her career to the present day.
“We wish her much joy and happiness as she surfs her way into the next adventure of retirement,” the post read.
