ATLANTA — Paramedic and singer/songwriter Derek Andrew streamed an impromptu concert from his EMS station for the Facebook fans of his country and southern rock style of singing and guitar playing.
"We are live," Andrew told the audience at the start of the video. "We have been pretty busy today."
In a Gordon EMS polo shirt and with dispatch traffic in the background Andrew sings, strums and says hello to viewers as they write comments.
"You are going to hear a lot of radio traffic," Andrew said.
Andrew's music and songwriting is inspired by his years working in EMS.
His set list includes songs from San Hunt, Travis Tritt, Eric Church, Johnny Cash, and Garth Brooks, as well as several original songs. Learn more about Andrew's music and tour dates on his website DerekAndrewMusic.com.
