STOKE-ON-TRENT, England — A paramedic’s purse, along with several other items, was stolen from an ambulance while a crew responded to a call.
BBC reported that the West Midlands Ambulance Service crew returned to their ambulance after treating a patient to find the windows smashed. A paramedic’s purse was stolen, as well as her keys and some medical supplies.
“It just gets worse!” West Midlands Ambulance Service member Steve Rust said on Twitter. “One of Stoke Hub’s ambulances was broken into whilst the crew were attending to a patient! Equipment stolen, crew personal belongings stolen including purse and car/house keys!”
Police said canisters of oxygen and nitrous oxide were taken, as well as life support kits.
