CARSON CITY, Nev. — A paramedic crew who was treating a driver after a vehicle crash discovered that he had also been shot.
KOLOTV reported that paramedics responded to a vehicle crash and saw that the driver had a gunshot wound to his chest while they were treating him.
The unidentified man was transported to the hospital, and police are currently trying to figure out how he was shot.
The extent of the man’s injuries is unknown, but he is expected to survive.
“At this time, the victim has not been able to provide any useful leads,” police said in a statement, according to Carson Now. “Due to the seriousness of the injuries, Carson City Detectives have not yet been able to obtain a complete interview of the victim, who is expected to survive his wounds.”
