LAGRANGE, Ga. — A paramedic was attacked Saturday night while treating a woman on Pine Grove Lane for medical issues, according to a sheriff’s press release.
After receiving information that Emergency Medical Service personnel were being assaulted while providing medical care to a patient, sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene at Pine Grove Lane at 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
When deputies arrived, they were confronted by a large group of people in the roadway and LaGrange police officers and state troopers arrived at the location to help disperse the crowd.
