ARCADIA, Wis. — A 48-year-old man was airlifted due to serious injuries after a combine accident Wednesday in the town of Arcadia.
At 6:35 p.m., Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene of an overturned combine on Oak Ridge Road near Lisowski Lane.
The combine was traveling northbound on Oak Ridge Road when it entered into a ditch and overturned, according to an initial investigation.
Christiaan J. Bezuidenhout was pinned underneath the combine when deputies arrived. The Arcadia Fire Department was able to extricate Bezuidenhout before he was airlifted by a Mayo One helicopter.
The Arcadia Police Department and Arcadia Ambulance additionally assisted with the accident.
