Bedbugs infest Tenn. ambulance service

One employee noticed bug bites; the service’s two stations and all of the ambulances have been treated

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. — An ambulance service in Tennessee recently dealt with an infestation of bed bugs.

WATE.com reported an employee with the Sevier County Ambulance Service noticed bug bites and called an exterminator.

The exterminator identified the problem as bed bugs.

Officials are not sure where the bedbugs came from but said two ambulance stations and all of the ambulances have been treated and are now bedbug free.
