LONDON — A lone paramedic was leapt on by burglars, beaten over the head with a fire extinguisher and stabbed at Pinner Ambulance Station on Saturday.
The worker — whose colleagues were attending a call — was surprised by a four-strong gang at 1:30 a.m. at the base in Imperial Drive, South Harrow.
The victim, who is team leader at the station and does not wish to be named, said “I was on my break at the station and as I walked into the garage four men sprung up from behind one of the cars and just came at me.”
