Atrium’s Express Mini 500 is the world’s first full-featured, wearable chest drain that provides even more utility to help get your patient’s ambulatory faster and safer.

Atrium Medical Corporation, the leader in chest drainage technology, recently introduced two new state-of-the-art mobile drain solutions.

Whether you are transporting a patient to a hospital, between facilities, or across the country, moving from place to place quickly and safely has never been easier. These new products eliminate the need for large, cumbersome, position-sensitive chest drains or chest drain valves with modified collection systems.

Atrium’s innovative Pneumostat chest drain valve breaks the traditional hazards of mobilizing patients with a simple, advanced chest drain valve. Utilizing Atrium’s latest dry seal technology, the compact 30ml Pneumostat is perfect for managing patients with mild to moderate air leaks and with no drainage.

The Express Mini 500 is the world’s first full-featured, wearable chest drain that provides even more utility to help get your patient’s ambulatory faster and safer, with the convenience of 500ml self-contained collection capacity. The Express Mini 500 is a waterless operating system, with a compact 500ml collection capability, and an advanced pre-set suction regulator set to -20cmH20.

It also incorporates Atrium’s patented one-way valve for maximum patient protection. The Express Mini 500 can be used with suction or on gravity alone drainage. The small unit sets up fast, and the unique dry seal valve requires no water and is not position sensitive.

Both of these advanced critical care devices were designed through a long heritage of traditional chest drain engineering. The Pneumostat and Express Mini 500 are ideal for air medical transport conditions.
