DUMBRECK, Glasgow — A teenage rugby player who impaled himself on a metal spike was saved by an off-duty paramedic yesterday.
The 14-year-old had played a match for Cartha Queen’s Park Rugby Club at Dumbreck, Glasgow, before he landed stomach-down on a spike.
