Acquisition extends offering of pharmaceuticals to the pre-hospital marketplace
Dublin, OH – Bound Tree Medical, the nation’s leading provider of emergency medical supplies and equipment to the pre-hospital market, today announced the acquisition of Blue Ridge Medical, a national supplier of pharmaceuticals and related products to the emergency medical community. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Blue Ridge Medical, a privately-held, Nashville-based organization, is a strategic addition to Bound Tree’s growing pharmaceutical sales efforts. The acquisition brings together two of the industry’s leading pharmaceutical distributors and accelerates Bound Tree’s strategic initiative to provide pre-hospital customers with leading-edge pharmaceuticals, supplies and equipment.
Bound Tree will build upon the loyal customer following from Blue Ridge by expanding the sales and service presence utilizing Bound Tree’s team of over 60 Account Managers located throughout the United States. Additionally, Bound Tree will significantly increase customer serviceability levels by providing quicker shipments from distribution centers located nationwide.
