El Dorado Hills, CA- Dr. Oz demonstrated the Heimlich Maneuver on the Choking Emergencies, Part 2 segment of the The Dr. Oz Show, using Act Fast Med’s Anti Choking Trainer. The video clip is posted on The Dr. Oz Show site from the December 8th airing which begins with Oz posing the question, “If I were to collapse (from choking) right now, would you know what to do?” He then performs two abdominal thrusts on an audience member wearing the Anti Choking Training Vest to illustrate how to successfully dislodge the airway obstruction from the trainer. Dr. Oz has demonstrated the Heimlich Maneuver on Act Fast Med’s vest twice on his show and once on Good Morning America with Diane Sawyer in 2009.
