The panel discussion will involve key responders from the cities of San Bernardino, Orlando and Dallas. The panel will discuss lessons learned from the active shooter incidents that took place in their response areas. The panel will also discuss response and operational protocols and procedures implemented at the incidents, revisions made since the incident and changes made to medical, trauma and protective equipment deployment.
The panel session will be simulcast via the web and will be moderated by Ryan Kelley, Managing Editor of JEMS magazine. Speakers on the panel will include Carly Crews, EMS Nurse Educator from San Bernardino Fire; Ryan Starling, Engineer/Tactical Medic and Reserve Police Office for San Bernardino Fire/Police; Roderick Williams, Fire Chief, City of Orlando and George Gamez, Deputy Chief for Dallas Fire Rescue EMS.
