C4i was recently awarded a contract by Sofrelog, providers of integrated Vessel Tracking Systems (VTS) for the turn key design, supply and commissioning of a Voice Communication System for Sydney Ports Corporation (SPC). C4i will provide VHF radios and antennas, a networked communications system, all controlled and accessed from operator positions at the new SPC command centre in Port Botany as well as satellite sites in Sydney Harbour.
C4i will complete this project in 2011. The offered system uses Voice over IP (VoIP) technology and includes capability to interface to legacy systems in both analog and digital domains. The system provides an integrated voice command and control management system for boating and shipping traffic in both Port Jackson and Botany Bay.
