Pa. EMS providers receive Mother’s Day surprise

Ten mothers working on the front lines at Lancaster EMS received surprise gifts from a local church and grocery store

LANCASTER, Pa. — Ten Pennsylvania EMS providers working away from their families on Mother’s Day were honored for their sacrifice with surprise gifts on Sunday.

The mothers working on the front lines at Lancaster EMS were presented with bouquets of flowers donated by the local Whole Foods Market, and gift cards to Whole Foods donated by Worship Center Church, the agency said in a Facebook post.

The gifts were delivered by Worship Center Pastor Chris Lautsbaugh, according to CBS 21.

“We know that many people that are affected by this [pandemic] but we thought, ‘How can we help these moms have a great day as they serve our country in the middle of this pandemic?’” Lautsbaugh told CBS 21.
