BRAMPTON, Ontario — Peel Paramedics will be handing out glow bracelets and safety advice to children who are out trick-or-treating on Halloween night. Paramedic crews will be driving throughout Brampton, Caledon and Mississauga neighbourhoods reminding trick-or-treaters to make safe decisions while out getting their candy.
“Halloween is an exciting time of year, but it’s important for parents and children to make safety a priority,” says Verena Jones, Acting Manager of System Performance, Manager of Paramedic Education and Research, Peel Regional Paramedic Services. “The safety advice provided by our paramedics will help ensure that the scariest thing on Halloween will be the costumes.”
