RUGBY, U.K. — Female paramedic was beaten up by two thugs as she bravely tried to stop them breaking into an ambulance.
The paramedic, who does not want to be named, caught the pair trying to get into the vehicle at the ambulance station in Rugby.
She was attacked by one of the men, who left her bruised and with a cut above the eye.
The two men - both wearing dark hoodies - then ran off.
Police say the men may have been after the ambulance’s sat-nav equipment.
“This was a despicable attack which has left a member of the emergency services injured,” said Inspector Dale Pritchard.
