SNOW HILL, N.C. — Troopers say three people were trapped in a wrecked ambulance after hot power lines fell on it this afternoon.
The crash happened around 1:50 p.m. on U.S. 13 near the Highway 91 intersection north of Snow Hill.
Troopers say the JAS ambulance was heading north when it ran off the road, took out a power pole and landed in a ditch. Two employees and a patient were trapped inside.
