Canadian county to test 'ambulance of the future'
The county's EMS chief describes the cheaper, lighter and more compact vehicle that includes unique safety features as "the most innovative ambulance design in 40 years"
FRONTENAC COUNTY, Ontario — The next generation ambulance will arrive in Kingston and Frontenac County this fall.
The county, which manages land ambulance service in the area, will be testing the first ambulance of its kind in Canada.
“It’s a very interesting project,” said Paul Charbonneau, the county’s chief of paramedic services.
