DUNMORE, Pa. — A picture of a paramedic helping a student tie his tie is going viral.
The photo of paramedic Jared Bryer was shared on Facebook by his partner Mary Terrinoni. She took the photo after a student, who was attending prom, approached their ambulance. He didn’t know how to tie his tie.
Bryer stepped out of the ambulance and helped the student.
“My heart was pretty full watching my partner step in to help him out,” the Facebook post read. “This is what it’s all about.”
The photo has been shared more than 3,000 times.
“I didn’t think much of it when I snapped the picture,” Terrinoni said. “I just wanted to show some others at work, because it’s always a nice feeling to know that we’re approachable and trusted by the community. Never in a million years did I think it would have such a positive and widespread reaction.”
