RAVENNA, Ohio — The Portage County Drug Task Force caught up with a Rootstown man who used his job as an ambulance company employee to steal eight doctors’ blank prescription pads to forge prescriptions for drugs worth an estimated $20,000.
Portage County Sheriff David W Doak said the task force arrested and charged Justin J. Case, 31, of Rootstown, on Tuesday for multiple violations of the state’s narcotics laws.
Case is being held in the Portage County Jail and was arraigned Wednesday morning in Portage County Municipal Court. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:45 a.m. April 10 before Judge Barbara Oswick.
