MIDDLETOWN, Ohio — Officers in Ohio attempted to stop a car they had observed driving erratically when it sped off and crashed into the back of an ambulance.
WLWT.com reported the driver of the vehicle jumped out of the car after the collision, dropped a hand gun and ran away.
The driver was later found in a nearby creek and arrested.
Two paramedics and the patient in the ambulance suffered minor injuries. A passenger in the car also suffered minor injuries.
The driver faces charges of fleeing and eluding, firearm possession, and OVI.
