WASHINGTON — An EMT who witnessed a woman go into cardiac arrest while riding her bike jumped into action to save her.

NBC Washington reported that Prince George’s County EMT Tawanda Murphy-Watkins was in her car when she saw Victoria Wolf fall off of her bike in the middle of rush hour traffic.

“I don’t remember the train ride. I don’t remember leaving the train and going to Union Station to get to the bike,” Wolf said. “I don’t remember any of that.”

Murphy-Watkins jumped out of her vehicle and began performing CPR on Wolf.

“I just feel so blessed, because I was at the right place at the right time,” Murphy-Watkins said.

Wolf later thanked the responders who saved her by presenting them with a CPR lifesaving coin.
