LANCASTER COUNTY, S.C. — A paramedic has died due to complications from COVID-19.

Lancaster County EMS Paramedic Richard McKinney died after contracting COVID-19, WBTV reported.

“He was a great medic and we’re proud to have served alongside of him,” a social post by Pleasant Valley Fire Department read.
