CARROLL TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A woman was arrested after allegedly assaulting a paramedic and a nurse in the emergency room.

Mcall Argirakis was being treated when she allegedly hit paramedic Lillian Farquar and nurse Bobbi Jo Rodino in the head, according to the Observer-Reporter.

Police said Rodino was visibly injured on her head and neck.

After Argirakis was treated, police said she refused to walk to the cruiser and threw herself on the ground before police had to carry her to the vehicle.

Argirakis was charged with two counts each of aggravated assault and harassment and one count each of disorderly conduct and obstructing administration of justice.
