Theresa Rinehart says she should not have been put on administrative duty by the Greenfield Fire Department and plans to fight the city if her employment is terminated Monday.
“I have done nothing wrong,” said Rinehart, who has been a full-time paramedic since 1998. “This has been devastating for me and my family.”
This week Greenfield Fire Chief Lewis McQueen recommended that the city terminate Rinehart after the county’s new medical director refused to allow her to provide any emergency medical services under his license.
