OKLAHOMA CITY — Dash cam video has been released after a woman stole an ambulance and went on a joy ride last month.
Newson6.com reported that the woman, Dasha West, not even 24 hours out of jail for assaulting paramedics, stole the parked Pauls Valley General Hospital ambulance as paramedics rushed a patient into a hospital. The ambulance was missing for about two hours.
The ambulance weaved back and forth switching lanes and West ignored the blaring sirens and commands from troopers to stop. The pursuit ended when West pulled over, but she drove along the shoulder before she finally surrendered to troopers.
