Ky. woman collides with ambulance while trying to pull over

There was no shoulder on the road, and she hit the ambulance when pulling into a driveway

MURRAY, Ky. — A woman suffered minor injuries after colliding with an ambulance that had lights and sirens activated.

A Murray Calloway County Sheriff’s Office driver by Stephen Hjerpe came up behind an SUV driven by Naomi Watson, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office. Watson said she slowed down, but there was no shoulder to pull over onto. She then turned left, attempting to enter a driveway, and struck the passenger side of the ambulance.

Watson was transported to Murray Calloway County Hospital for treatment of her injuries. Neither of the two people in the ambulance were injured.
