ADA, Mich. — Police are investigating an ambulance crash that left the driver of an ambulance pinned inside the vehicle and another person with serious injuries.
A Michigan State Police dispatch supervisor confirmed the ambulance crash occurred in the early hours Sunday morning, but did not give additional details, according to M Live.
Emergency personnel transported two people to the hospital in connection with the crash. AeroMed took one of the injured individuals to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital with serious injuries.
Another person sustained minor injuries, and a ground ambulance transported the patient to Mercy Health Saint Mary’s Hospital.
