NEW YORK — An investigation is underway after an FDNY ambulance struck and killed an 81-year-old man Tuesday afternoon.
Officials said the ambulance was making a left turn at the time of the crash.
The man, Gen Zhan, was transported to the hospital with severe body trauma, where he later died from his injuries.
The identity of the 22-year-old first responder has not been disclosed, reported CBS New York.
