3 EMS providers hurt after Va. ambulance, tanker truck collide

STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — Three EMS providers were injured when an ambulance and a tanker truck were involved in a crash Tuesday morning.

NBC Washington reported that the ambulance rolled over on its side after crashing into a tanker truck that was carrying cranberry juice, according to officials.

According to FOX5 DC, all three EMS providers and the patient who were on board the ambulance were transported to the hospital. Two EMS providers were transported for evaluation, while the other EMS provider and the patient were transported with more severe injuries.

The driver of the tanker truck refused treatment.
